Contributions are managed by the Flint Hills Discovery Center Foundation, a 501c3 not-for-profit organization. Gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. You can make your gift by mail or phone. When making your gift, please indicate it is for the "Flint Hills Learning Center." If you have questions, contact the FHDC Foundation.

We invite you to share your experiences, new ideas and best resources with us, so we can share with others in our Flint Hills teaching community. For questions or additional information, email the FHDC Education Team or call 785-587-2726.

What to Share

When sharing with us, here are some ideas of what is helpful:

Facebook Post

We love seeing our educator resources in action! Send us a photo and/or video of your experience with a few sentences detailing what is happening.

Project-Based Learning Activity

When sharing a new project-based learning activity include: main subject area, brief description of lesson topic and learning objective, and critical questions for students to explore.

Lesson Plan

When sharing a new lesson plan idea, include: title/name of lesson, grade level(s), subject area(s), short description, curriculum standards, time length, materials and technology needed, activities and procedure, assessment, and extended learning opportunities.

Submission & Review

To submit, email the FHDC Education Team. Submissions will be reviewed and may be edited before sharing in the Learning Center. Thank you in advance for your ideas!
