Background

The CiCo Park Improvements are anticipated to include reconstruction of baseball/softball fields with synthetic turf and 12 new tennis courts at CiCo Park. The CiCo Park Improvements Advisory Committee Responsibilities and Commitments expected are listed:

  • The Committee will gave input during the concept and schematic design phase of the project. The Committee received periodic updates from the City and consultant team. Committee members also received special invitations to all relevant City Commission meetings and consultant-led public input sessions during the planning and design process.
  • The Committee provided a recommendation to City Administration, the consultant, and ultimately the City Commission on the final schematic design layouts, features, and amenities to include in the project.
  • The Committee members met from October 2023 through May 2024, followed by a formal recommendation to the City Commission.
