    Hit the road with Hands-On Harley-Davidson™ the new traveling exhibit at the Flint Hills Discovery Center! Step into a kid-sized Harley-Davidson® dealership with two customizable Road-King®-inspired motorcycles. Go for a virtual ride in our simulator. Learn how engines work, the "rules of the road," and bike maintenance. Enter the "Engineering Lab" to design and test your own freestyle track with tracks, ramps, and loops.

  2. StoryWalk® Downtown

    StoryWalk® Downtown is back for the month of September! We are featuring the book "How Do Dinosaurs Say Good Night?" by Jane Yolen and Mark Teague. This imaginative story is full of wonderful detail and humor as parents try to put their dinosaur kids to bed. The StoryWalk® begins and ends at the Flint Hills Discovery Center. Story pages are numbered one to 15 and are spread throughout the windows of downtown Manhattan businesses. Once you complete your StoryWalk® return to the Flint Hills Discovery Center to receive a free copy of the book. Once the books are all gone, we still will have a fun prize to give away!
