Preschoolers in the Flint Hills - What Is Wild?
Tuesday, November 1, 2022
Let's learn the difference between wild and tame animals. We will feel fur and make a wild animal puppet. Get ready for a wild day!
Preschool-age children begin discovering the wonder of the Flint Hills where they live, but look beyond the city limits in their exploration. Children further their sense of place and belonging to this region through interactions with the ecology and the history of the area. Every session includes a story time, snack, and themed craft or activity!
Enrollment is a maximum of 12 children, minimum of 5.
Pre-registration is required either online, by phone at 785-587-2726, or in person at the Flint Hills Discovery Center.
