Behind the Exhibits lectures are FREE and open to the public. Lectures take place inside the Flint Hill Discovery Center's second floor classroom.

The Role of Bison in Prairie Maintenance
with Jeff Taylor | Thursday, October 18 from 6:30-7:30pm
Join us as we welcome Jeff Taylor, bison herd manager and lead botanist at Konza Prairie Biological Station. Jeff has been working at Konza for over 11 years and will discuss the origins and management of the Konza Prairie bison herd. He will also explain the impacts of bison on the landscape and how bison grazing compares to cattle grazing.
