Parents, bring your littles to the outdoor classroom and build your skills to raise a nature lover. The little ones will explore nature through use of their five senses while parents learn how to model good outdoor behaviors.
Nature Together is a new program designed for caregivers and youth ages 0-3. Each session is repeated twice, on a Friday and Saturday morning, to give everyone a chance to participate. Please come prepared to get a little dirty, learn about nature, and be that role model in the outdoors for your child!
This program is free, but pre-registration is required under the adult’s name. All youth must be accompanied by an adult. In the event of unfavorable weather, Nature Together will be moved indoors at the Discovery Center. Please wear sun protection and bring your refillable water bottles as necessary.
Pre-registration is required either online, by phone at 785-587-2726 or in person at the Flint Hills Discovery Center. Pre-registration for fall programs opens at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, August 20.
