On Exhibit: Dream with Da Vinci

Dream with Da Vinci

May 25 - September 8, 2019
Located in the Tallgrass Gallery on the Second Floor

This summer marks the 500th anniversary of Leonardo Da Vinci’s legacy. It is an honor to have the opportunity to celebrate all he was able to accomplish in his life during our summer exhibit, Dream with Da Vinci!

As a time of learning and growth, the Renaissance anticipated modern science, modern thinking and society. One of the most important people to take part in the Renaissance was Leonardo Da Vinci, commonly known as the “father of modern science.”

Da Vinci was a dreamer and inventor. His love for math, science and art are highlighted through this interactive exhibition. Catapults, parachutes, and a hang glider are just some of the inventions used to explore the art of science. Add your own creativity and ideas, explore engineering and flight, and see how Da Vinci’s inventions contributed to the inventions of modern technology.

This exhibit encourages a wide variety of creativity and exploration expressed through multiple STEAM concepts (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics).

Dream with Da Vinci was created by Curious Kids' Museum.
